Please note that the complaints and appeals process has been agreed nationally across specialty recruitment, and applies equally regardless of the specialty to which you have applied.

In the case of recruitment to the specialties participating in JRCPTB-coordinated ST3 recruitment, complaints should be made to the JRCPTB in the first instance. We will make the initial investigation and liaise with deaneries/LETBs where applicable.

If you wish to make a complaint about a medical specialty where the process is not coordinated by the JRCPTB, you should direct your complaint to the organisation responsible for the vacancy. This includes medical specialties not part of the JRCPTB-coordinated process and recruitment to academic clinical fellow posts in medical specialties.
