Applicants' guide

Our applicants' guide acts as a quick guide to the recruitment process, and is a useful starting place for learning how the ST3 recruitment process works.

Applicant guides can be found in the document library, under 'General Information'.

Email helpdesk

Should you be unable to locate an answer to your query, please contact the Specialty Recruitment Office (SRO) helpdesk via email with your query: st3recruitment@jrcptb.org.uk.

The SRO helpdesk is open from 9am - to 5pm every (working) weekday, and where possible we will respond to all queries within a maximum of two working days.

We usually respond to enquiries more quickly than this and especially during the application period, so applicants with urgent enquiries can usually expect a reply within a shorter time frame.

Our helpdesk will only accept and respond to queries sent via email .

This is firstly so that all queries can be responded to chronologically, ie in the order in which they were received. Using email also allows both candidates and the helpdesk to give clear explanations of queries and have a record of what was said.
