Living and working in the East Midlands (South)

The East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery is split into two distinct Units of Application (UoAs) - North & South. East Midlands (South) covers the counties of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.

Our dedicated team of Associate Postgraduate Deans, Postgraduate Assistants & Administrators and secretarial support co-ordinate and facilitate the postgraduate training of hospital-based doctors, and provide advice to our Postgraduate Specialty Schools, which are in turn supported by teams of School Co-ordinators.

ST3 programmes in the Specialty School of Medicine (South) typically involve placements in Leicester, Northampton and Kettering, and many programmes also have placements in hospitals in surrounding regions.  Full details of these programmes are available at www.LNRMed.org.uk.
