ST3 offers update - Friday 18 May

The third iteration of offers has now been made, and we know that most people have received the same offer, or a better offer, when compared to the original offers process. However, for those who have not, we are grateful to the education and recruitment agencies of the four nations for laying out how to contact them to discuss individual circumstances. This information is copied below.

Our apologies once again for all those who have been affected.

Yours sincerely

RCP president, Professor Jane Dacre

RCP registrar, Dr Andrew Goddard

Information from Health Education England, NHS Education for Scotland, Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency and the Wales Deanery:

Since learning of the error in the offers process for applicants to ST3 recruitment into higher medical specialties, HEE/NES/NIMDTA/Wales Deanery have been working closely with the Royal College of Physicians of London and partner national education bodies to achieve an agreed and clear way forward across the UK.

We are now providing information for trainees who have not yet had an offer of a post or who may have been affected by this problem.

We would welcome contact and will positively review each case on an individual basis alongside our partner education bodies. Please be guided by the table below as to the most relevant pathway for your situation should you choose to contact us.
